The Sultanate of Oman called for restraint to spare the region and its people from the dangers of war.
She said in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, broadcast by the Omani News Agency, “Oman,” today that she is following with great interest the developments of the military escalation in the region, the seriousness of its repercussions, and the importance of self-restraint to spare the region and its peoples the dangers of war.
The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed its position calling for adherence to international laws and the need for the Security Council to fulfill its responsibility towards maintaining international peace and security.
