The Sudanese community in the Emirates is organizing the “Sudan in the Heart of the Emirates” festival at the Dubai World Trade Center, tomorrow, Sunday, to celebrate Sudanese culture and arts and promote the values of tolerance and coexistence that prevail among all components of society in the Emirates.
The festival, which is expected to be attended by about 4,000 people from the Sudanese community in the country, aims to highlight the specificity of Sudanese cultural heritage and introduce it in a festive atmosphere in the presence of a group of the most prominent Sudanese figures residing in the country, including businessmen, artists, intellectuals, athletes and others.
The festival will include many entertainment segments and various artistic, performing and heritage performances. The festival also includes a carnival market inspired by the most prominent landmarks of Sudan, including the Arab Market, an ancient shopping destination known in Sudan, which will provide visitors to the festival with a live shopping experience by providing Sudanese handmade products, in a pure Sudanese heritage atmosphere, accompanied by a visual display of the Arab Market, which is a destination. Prime shopping in Sudan, in addition to the “Nile Corniche” corner, which provides a unique shopping experience for festival-goers that provides the most prominent traditional Sudanese food and drinks.
Sudanese artist Nancy Agag will participate in the artistic segment with a variety of her most prominent works, and the diverse ceremony agenda also includes the participation of a number of the most prominent presenters of “stand-up comedy,” and other types of content most followed on various social media platforms, including the Sudanese comedy content creator known as “ Bush with a screen.
