The State of Things: previews, guests and streaming of Massimo Giletti’s program
This evening, Monday 7 October 2024, at 9.20 pm on Rai 3, Lo Stato delle Cose will be broadcast, the new program by Massimo Giletti which talks about the complexity of the space and time in which we live, to give viewers the opportunity to read reality from a different perspective, to take stock of “the state of things” for what it is and not for what it appears. But let’s see all the information together in detail.
Previews and guests
The style of the program is signed by Massimo Giletti. The facts, issues and stories that are at the center of public debate will always be addressed with different guests, languages and temperatures, always bringing together the top and the bottom, the right and the left, the center and the periphery of the world . Among the “things” of the program are the journalist’s “face to face” meetings with the most prestigious names on the political scene and in Italian society: direct questions, to inform and understand. Not only “face to face” but also “confrontations”. Some protagonists of our contemporary world will be called to “challenge” each other on the most urgent issues of current affairs, each starting from their own point of view and giving life to a real “duel” between different ideas and opposing visions of the world.
In this episode, the attack by Hamas militiamen on 7 October 2023 will be remembered with unpublished testimonies and the notes of a special orchestra, that of Michael Barenboim who brought together an ensemble of Palestinian musicians: because the universality of music demonstrates that peace is always possible, as Massimo Cacciari, guest of the program, claims.
Matteo Salvini, then, in the aftermath of the Pontida gathering, will engage in a “one to one” interview with Giletti, while Mario Tozzi will comment on the reportage made in Sicily among abandoned watermakers, for which very high costs continue to be incurred, and the desperation of the citizens of Enna – connected live – who are demanding water which for months has only arrived once a week.
We will also return to talking about the Ultras world with exclusive services: in the studio Federico Ruffo who has dealt with “criminal gangs” more than once and Klaus Davi who has long been investigating the links between ‘Ndrangheta crime and gangs.
