State Duma Deputy Mikhail Sheremet proposed to put US President Joe Biden on the international wanted list for sponsoring neo-Nazism. He announced this on July 16.
“It is time for Biden to be put on the international wanted list as an international criminal. It was his policy of sponsoring neo-Nazism that led to the unleashing of a military conflict in Ukraine,” the deputy said. “RIA News”.
According to him, the United States, under the guise of democratic values, used Ukraine and the Ukrainian people as a bargaining chip in achieving its geopolitical ambitions and the desire to weaken Russia.
“All the blame for what is happening in Ukraine today lies with the United States,” Sheremet concluded.
On July 14, Biden called for the failure of Russia’s special operation in the Donbass. He called on other countries to support the United States in their assistance to Ukraine.
On July 8, the White House press service reported that Biden had made a decision to allocate $400 million to Kyiv for arms supplies and military education.
Earlier that day, the Pentagon said that Washington was working on plans to supply new weapons to the Ukrainian side for months and years ahead. It was noted that the new $400 million US military aid package to Kyiv is expected to include, among other things, several HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems, their ammunition and artillery shells.
The day before, meanwhile, a senior Pentagon official told a telephone briefing that the more military aid Ukraine receives from the West, the more it expands its requests. He specified that Kyiv wants attack helicopters, anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense systems.
On July 1, the Pentagon press service announced the allocation of another $820 million military assistance package to the Ukrainian side. It was specified that it would include new NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems and anti-artillery radars.
On June 15, John Kirby, National Security Council coordinator for strategic communications at the White House, said that the United States had provided $5.6 billion worth of military assistance to Ukraine since the beginning of the special operation. According to him, Washington intends to continue to provide new aid packages to Kyiv “on a regular basis.”
Western countries are sending weapons and military equipment to Kyiv against the backdrop of a special operation conducted by the Russian Federation to protect Donbass. The Russian side has repeatedly stressed that such supplies prolong the conflict and do not lead to a diplomatic solution to the situation.
The Russian Federation launched a special operation on February 24. The Kremlin stressed that the key goals of the Russian military are the denazification and demilitarization of the Kyiv regime. The situation in Donbass escalated in mid-February due to shelling by the Ukrainian military. The authorities of the DPR and LPR announced the evacuation of residents to Russia and turned to Moscow for help.
