You look to the future of your favorite Czech car brand Skoda (unless you are a Tatra fan for some reason). This Skoda Vision 7S sets a course for the design team. We also get a first impression of what the brand’s seven-seater electric car will look like.
Not only the design of the cars changes, the Skoda house style changes with it. For example, the old logo has been replaced by a brand new word mark. The letters are illuminated, so you can see that it is a Skoda even in the dark.
Thoughts about fire safety
On the front and rear bumpers you will find seven strips of which the middle one is colored orange. The orange strip is a kind of emergency stop with which the electrical system can be completely switched off. This way the neighborhood children have something to do now that camera doorbells make it impossible to ring a bell. That can be quite irritating.
In addition, you can fold the steering wheel when you activate the relax mode and there is a child seat between the driver and co-driver seats. There would even be a camera in the roof, aimed at the child seat, so that you can look at the child on the tablet. So that’s next to you.
In addition, the Skoda Vision 7S is packed with sustainable materials, such as recycled tires as floor mats. With this study model, Skoda paints the car in matte green and the wheels are 22 inches in size – things you probably won’t see on the production model.
Specifications of the Skoda Vision 7S
Although we will not see this car in real life until 2026, we already know that the Skoda Vision 7S will be on Volkswagen’s MEB platform. It will have an 89 kWh battery, a range of 600 kilometers and a charging capacity of 200 kW. Perhaps the platform will get some updates, because the loading speed would be behind the competition by then.
The arrival of this Skoda Vision 7S is not the starting signal for a monopoly of electric cars within the brand. In 2023 we expect a new generation of the Superb and Kodiaq, while in 2024 the facelifted Octavia makes its appearance. Still plenty of time to fantasize about what the current logo can represent.
