The search for the fisherman who disappeared in the Gertner Bay of the Sea of Okhotsk in Magadan continues for six days. But so far they have not brought results.
The man is searched for with the help of special equipment: the Khivus-10 hovercraft and snowmobiles. For the survey from the air, drones were used, and for the survey under the ice – an underwater video camera.
The man went on a fishing trip on the morning of January 16 to the Three Brothers Islands region. Since then, nothing has been known about him. Since January 16, rescuers have surveyed a total of over 100 sq. km of ice field in several directions. But no traces of either the fisherman or his car were found, writes IA MagadanMedia…
The rescue department noted that now the ice cover is stable, the old cracks have healed. Ice set around the islands. Local fishermen took advantage of this and began to travel to the ice.
On January 21, it was reported that rescuers found the body of a fisherman near Tuloma in the Murmansk region. He died on Lake Rystlysvochyvrysh. The body was found about 10 km from the village. Rescuers were forced to use snowmobiles to get to the site.
