Under the kind patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Chairwoman of the Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Award for Childhood Creativity in Dubai, and under the wise guidance of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, patron of the award, and with the follow-up and support of Sheikha Amina bint Humaid Al Tayer, President of the Dubai Women’s Renaissance Association, and Chairperson of the Board of Directors, the family of the Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Award for Childhood Creativity emanating from the Association continues Dubai Women’s Renaissance: its preparations and programs for the conclusion of the current 24th season, 2021-2022.
Regarding the preparations, Her Excellency Amina Al-Dabous Al-Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Award, said: “According to sound directions, the award has begun to judge the works of the 24th season, and in preparation for this, competitions for public speaking, poetry, scientific and programming creativity were launched yesterday at the award headquarters, and the award family has developed the basic plan that includes the stages Receiving and classifying the works of participants from within the country and from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, and subjecting all works to sorting and classification. A flexible and lively program of arbitration has been developed in preparation for the arbitration tasks, in accordance with the rules and criteria of the award, accurately and fairly in evaluation and at all levels of the award. It includes 3 direct levels: the first level, which includes the category of normal students from 8-18 years, and the age groups may be modified according to the field. The best institution, authority, center or school that cares for normal children and from the category of people of determination in the country. The Foundation submits a file of its activities during the past year, provided that 5 years have passed since the Foundation’s last participation in the award.
Her Excellency Amina Al-Dabous Al-Suwaidi added: With the grace of God, all stages of categorizing the entries have been completed according to the multiple areas of the award, which are: the Holy Quran memorization competition, the literary creativity axis, which includes poetry, short story, essay and rhetoric competitions, and studies and research that include competitions for history, geography, environment, religious studies and scholars Hadith and hadiths of the Prophet and the interpretation of the vocabulary of the Noble Qur’an. In the field of artistic creativity, competitions include: drawing, composition and photography, and in the service of knowledge technology, the award has singled out competitions: electronic software creativity, scientific creativity, and readable media creativity, in addition to journalistic investigation and caricature, in order to enhance the values and methodology of artificial intelligence, as all these entries are submitted to a committee The arbitration that has been notified to immediately start the arbitration process and the stages of approving the final result and announcing it by the award.
Her Excellency Amina Al Dabbous Al Suwaidi concluded her statement by saying: The Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Award for Childhood Creativity, since its inception, seeks to achieve many goals, most notably stimulating and encouraging creativity in various fields, which contributes to the child’s thought and culture, taking into account directing efforts to develop his creativity and care for creative childhood in our society and emphasizing the encouragement of constructive competition among the children of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in various fields and activities and creating an atmosphere that stimulates the child to be creative. Among our goals is to encourage children to scientific, objective and creative thinking from the early stages of socialization within a framework of lofty religious values, and to promote upgrading the level of services provided by various institutions for childhood and encourage them to perform the most distinguished performance to improve educational methods, which achieves the goals and aspirations of society to develop the competencies of contestants in a civilized manner. And keen to continue to stimulate creativity to reach the concept of creativity – investment. Therefore, we call upon parents and educational, religious and cultural institutions to increase the horizons of cooperation and coordination to support the award’s programs and initiatives and achieve the highest success rates to enhance creativity, excellence, artificial intelligence and instill sustainability.
