The event, which will feature three concerts, in addition to food trucks and animation, will be held on October 8
The Association of Entrepreneurs of Cabo de Palos, with the support of the Cartagena City Council, will celebrate the second edition of the Cabo de Palos Tour Fest. A day of cultural activities, held on Saturday October 8, with performances in different locations and time slots by three local artists: Lydia Martin, Río Viré and Jamones con Tacones.
Admission to the three concerts will be free, as announced by the delegate councilor for Culture, Carlos Piñana, accompanied by Rubén Marco, head of the Sub-Up hotel and representatives of the Association of Entrepreneurs of Cabo de Palos, according to municipal sources in a statement.
“This festival intends to make music, culture and a beautiful place take on an intimate role to meet local artists and corners of the municipality of Cartagena in a different environment,” said the mayor.
On the other hand, the person in charge of the Sub-Up hotel, Rubén Marco, thanked the City Council for its support in this event. “We want to show that Cabo de Palos is not only a sun and beach destination at a specific time, but also a cultural destination suitable for 365 days a year,” he specified.
Cabo Palos Tour Fest will take place all day on Saturday, October 8, and will consist of three performances by local artists at different locations in Cabo de Palos. The day will begin at 12:30 pm in the port car park, with a performance by Lydia Martin.
In the afternoon, at half past five, at the mouth of the port it will be the turn of the Rio Viré group and finally, at 8:30 p.m., Jamones con Tacones will perform on the esplanade of the parking lot of the Cabo de Palos lighthouse. In addition to the performances, the festival will feature entertainment, food trucks and a bar sponsored by Estrella de Levante.
