Forty-one chefs associated with restaurants in Spain have achieved one of the three recognitions with which The Best Chefs Awards 2024the award that during its previous three editions recognized Dabiz Muñoz As the best chef in the world, he launches a new way of classifying his winners with one, two or three knives. A system that is reminiscent in the sector of the method implemented by Michelin with its stars, in its famous red guide, since 1931.

The new system has been defined by The Best Chef Awards as follows. ‘three knives‘ – the highest award –: celebrates the highest level of culinary mastery, awarded to 97 chefs who have achieved 80% or more of the maximum points awarded by their colleagues.
‘two knives‘: this 2024 recognizes 177 chefs who have obtained 40% or more of those votes, which represents a global experience. ‘a knife‘: rewards 276 chefs who reached 20% or more of those possible votes, and recognizes their contribution to the sector through exclusive culinary experiences.
