The coast of Cartagena was in a yellow warning due to coastal phenomena with waves up to five meters high
The yellow warning for coastal phenomena in Cartagena has left waves between four and five meters. According to the forecasts of the Aemet (State Meteorological Agency), the highest wave could reach up to ten meters. The sea has reached beyond the seafront promenade of La Barra, making its way inland through the streets that separate the houses from the beachfront of Cabo de Palos.
In addition, the strong waves have caused damage to the coast of Cabo de Palos, in Cartagena. The bravery of the waves has raised several slabs of the promenade, as well as wooden boards belonging to the walkways closest to the railing that separates the coast from this promenade.
