Alexander Yuzhalin, an expert on labor law at the SuperJob service, said that the long weekend from March 6 to March 8 will not affect the wages of Russians in any way, reports RIA News.
This applies to employees who receive a salary and work on a five-day schedule. Yuzhalin clarified that Russians who work in shifts should be guided by the schedules approved by companies when determining days off or holidays.
In conclusion, the specialist emphasized that the Russian government, according to the Labor Code, has the right to transfer standard days off to other days.
Earlier, the Russians were reminded of the six-day working week from Monday, February 28. On Saturday, March 5, the working day will be reduced by one hour, and the subsequent March 6, 7, and 8 will become non-working.
