A month and a half before the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, almost 50 military transport aircraft from different countries, including the United States and Britain, landed. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova in her Telegram-channel.
“Attention pacifists! In the first month and a half of 2022 (before the start of the special operation), almost 50 military transport aircraft from different countries landed in Ukraine: the United States, Britain, Canada, Poland, Lithuania,” the diplomat stressed.
According to Zakharova, over the past month, Ukraine has also received 2,000 tons of modern weapons and ammunition. The representative of the Foreign Ministry recalled that since 2014, the United States has provided Ukraine with military assistance worth $2.7 billion, with $650 million of them in 2021.
Sweden, Finland and Austria also express their readiness to assist Kiev, follows from the publication of the diplomat. “This is how the West actually saw the implementation of the Minsk agreements by Kiev,” Zakharova summed up.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to conduct a special operation in the Donbass. Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky announced the introduction of martial law in Ukraine and the severance of diplomatic relations with the Russian side.
