The Russian authorities have adjusted the list of the country’s southern airports, which temporarily suspended flights due to a special operation in the Donbass. This is reported on the official website. Rosaviatsia.
It is specified that now Lipetsk has been added to the list of temporarily closed air harbors. In addition, Simferopol was removed from there.
At the same time, airlines are recommended to organize the transportation of passengers on alternative routes. The Federal Air Transport Agency also instructed carriers to return money to travelers for air tickets in full or provide an opportunity to change dates.

“We ask passengers of canceled flights not to arrive at airports and follow the information about changes in the schedule and the status of flights on the official websites of airlines and airports, including the official accounts of companies on social networks,” the ministry said in a statement.
Earlier it was reported that flights from several airports in southern Russia were suspended due to a special operation in the Donbass. These included Anapa, Rostov (Platov), Stavropol, Krasnodar (Pashkovsky), Orel, Gelendzhik, Elista, Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh and others.
On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special operation to protect Donbass. He also turned to outside forces that might try to pose a threat to Russia and said the response would be immediate.
The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the country’s Armed Forces do not carry out missile, air or artillery strikes on Ukrainian cities. The ministry clarified that nothing threatens the civilian population of the country.
