Moscow region: an “underground city” was built for the Russian military in the Kherson direction
Specialists of the Dnepr group of troops built an “underground city” for Russian military personnel in the Kherson direction. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, reports RIA Novosti.
“The “Underground City” was created by the Russian army for housing and servicing the personnel of the Dnepr group of forces. The “underground city” has living quarters, a kitchen, a dining room, a bathhouse, a gym, a laundry room, a dryer, a clothing repair shop, and a hairdresser,” the department said.
It is noted that the dugouts in this “city” are equipped with electricity, water supply, heating and communications. The length of its trenches exceeds four kilometers and the depth is four meters. The Ministry of Defense noted that all conditions were created in the “city” for the recreation of military personnel, who will then continue to carry out combat missions on the contact line.
Previously, the Russian Armed Forces were able to enter and gain a foothold on the eastern outskirts of Ugledar. Local sources noted that the high-rise buildings surrounding the perimeter of the settlement are currently creating serious problems for the fighters.
