Espanyol-Valencia and Tenerife-Levante will not be played this weekend. The sole judge of professional competitions of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has resolved this Wednesday the request that LaLiga presented at the request of the Valencian clubs involved to postpone said matches.
In a statement, the federal entity states that the decision responds to “the situation generated by DANA, which leaves a number of fatalities yet to be determined and numerous material damages.”
The match between the blue and white team and Che was scheduled for this Saturday the 9th at 6:30 p.m., while the Granotas were due to visit the Tenerife team on Sunday the 10th at the same time. In the resolution, the choice of the new date for both meetings is left for later.
It is the second day in which the Valencia and Levante matches are postponed due to the tragedy that occurred by DANA
This measure is the same one that was already adopted last week with Valencia-Real Madrid and Levante-Málaga. This same week, for the second time, the matches that the Valencianistas and Levantinistas were supposed to play against Parla and Pontevedra, respectively, were postponed.
In the same statement, the RFEF announces that the F League derby between Levante and Valencia, which was scheduled for this Sunday at 4:15 p.m., has also been postponed. As in previous cases, the two clubs had requested that this duel be held later as a result of the tragedy that occurred by DANA.
On the other hand, the ACB has reported that the Valencia-Casademont Zaragoza scheduled for this Saturday the 9th at 8:45 p.m., which corresponds to matchday 7 of the Endesa League, will take place on Friday, November 15 at the same time.
