The humorous festival will go through the stages of theaters and auditoriums between March 4 and June 5 with ‘shows’ such as ‘Stretching the gum’, ‘Pantomime Full’ and ‘Comics’
The Murcia Sonríe festival returns to the stages of the Region of Murcia this spring to bring out endless laughter among the spectators who attend the shows of the varied programming that they propose. This year’s event will be the seventh edition of an event whose prestige has already been consolidated and has even become one of the leading humor events at the national level. The festival will begin next Friday, March 4, and will last until June 5, with more than 20 shows scheduled throughout some of the most important theaters and auditoriums in the Region.
It will be the first time that the festival brings humor to the Region after the break caused by the pandemic, since its last edition was in 2019, in which the large number of 20,000 spectators was reached. Now, the Murcian production company specializing in comedy Ninona Producciones, leaving behind capacity restrictions, is backing this successful format with the most recognized names on the national comedy scene.
Among the ‘shows’ that can be enjoyed this spring, some that are currently at the peak of success stand out, such as ‘Estirando el chicle’, the duo formed by Carolina Iglesias and Victoria Martín, winner of the last Ondas award for ‘best podcast’ and usual number 1 on digital platforms. The project by Alberto Casado and Rober Bodegas, ‘Pantomima Full’, specializing in comic sketches of any current situation, doesn’t go unnoticed either. The list continues with names like ‘Don’t get involved in Politics’, by Facu Díaz and Miguel Maldonado; ‘Comics’, with Martita de Graná, Raquel Sastre, Paula Púa, Ana Bravo, Virgina Riezu, Maru Candel and Ana Polo; or ‘Can I speak? XXL’, from Satan’s Bitch and Snorkel.
The programming brings many other of the great comedians of the current scene: Raúl Cimas, Dani Martínez, Venga Monjas, Miguel Noguera, Comandante Lara, Jaime Caravaca, Santi Rodríguez, Grison Beatbox or Agustín Durán will bring to the Region the loudest laughter and the funniest ‘shows’ for Murcians to return to theaters and auditoriums in search of laughter and good vibes.
