The results of the 2024 US elections by state, live

Consult elDiario.es’ maps and graphs live to find out the results of the presidential elections in the United States. Find out if it is Kamala Harrisof the Democratic party, or donald trumpof the Republican Party, the candidate who wins the Electoral College in each state.

With the first results arriving, each state is shown in the color of the party that is leading the count, but it is not until the winning candidate is declared in each state that the count is considered already decided.

To know the results of both candidates in each state, the following table shows the distribution of the percentage of the vote between the Democrat and the Republican and the difference, in percentage points, that is drawn between them.

The Electoral College is made up of 538 delegates. To win, one of the candidates has to receive at least 270 votes. The delegates are distributed by state and the winning party in each territory takes the entire number of delegates assigned to that state, except in Maine (4) and Nebraska (5), where the system is proportional. With these two exceptions, it makes no difference whether you win a state by one ballot or by a million: if you win, you take all the electoral votes in that state and the loser in that state gets nothing.

A number of states have the closest results. To follow the count, the following table shows the difference between the candidates, in number of votes and in percentage of vote. You can also see the evolution of the party of the winning candidate in the presidential elections since 1976.
