Alberto Fernández warned after knowing the lists for the STEP of September 12 that the government officials who presented themselves as pre-candidates must “drop your charges”.
“Those of us who accept to represent a political space in an electoral process are aware that we must step aside, because it implies a burden and a challenge that is not compatible with the responsibility we assume when being appointed to manage in the public function,” he said. , for its part, Tolosa Paz, whose resignation presented last year was accepted July 30.
In her replacement at the head of the National Council for the Coordination of Social Policies, Marisol Merquel was appointed, who since 2013 has been a provincial deputy for the sixth electoral section and served as vice president of the Chamber of Deputies of the Province, between 2017 and 2019.
Born in Pigüé, Merquel came to occupy the presidency of the Deputy after the departure of the macrista Manuel Mosca.
