The last quarterly survey published by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) in Spain revealed the average salary by region and the cities with the highest labor supply in the country.

The survey findings indicate that the regions with the most vacancies available during the beginning of 2022 were Catalonia (which brings together well-known cities such as Barcelona, Girona, Terragona, among others), Madrid and Andalusia.
This is the distribution for vacancies presented by the entity:
- Catalonia: 32,474 job vacancies
- Madrid: 27,676 vacancies in the first quarter.
- Andalusia: 16,095 job offers.
- Valencian Community: 15,879 vacancies.
- Castile and Leon: 8,531 job offers
Some of the main cities that fall within these five regions are: Seville, Granada, Malaga, Almeria, Valencia, Alicante, Elche, Villarreal, Valladolid and Salamanca.

Average salary in Spain
Although the minimum wage is 1,000 euros, the average salary in the country is around 2,000 euros, according to the INE.
Madrid is the city that offers the best salary with an average of 3,287 euros per workerit is worth clarifying that this value includes social benefits.
In Catalonia, the average salary per worker is 2,941 euros, in Andalusia it is 2,394 euros, in the Comununitat Valenciana they pay around 2,456 euros, and in Castilla y León 2,415 euros.
Within the regions with a high average salary, there is also the Basque Country and Navarra.
