The Emirates Red Crescent Authority continues to implement the Eid Al-Adha clothing project in the city of Mukalla in the Yemeni Hadhramaut Governorate, which aims to distribute clothing to 3,500 individuals.
The project includes providing 500 purchase vouchers, each worth about 200 dirhams, through several commercial centers in the city of Mukalla.
The project comes within the framework of the UAE’s efforts to reduce the financial burden on the beneficiary families and bring smiles and joy to the hearts of its children during the Eid period.
Humaid Rashid Al Shamsi, Development and International Cooperation Advisor, representative of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in Hadhramaut, said that the initiative is part of a series of humanitarian projects implemented by the Authority with the aim of strengthening social solidarity and achieving solidarity among all members of society, bringing joy to the hearts of the beneficiaries and making their Eid more joyful and happy. .
The Eid clothing distribution fairs witnessed a large turnout from children with disabilities, orphans, and children with diabetes, cancer, and thalassemia, in addition to the families of martyrs and the families most in need, to purchase what suits their children, through purchase vouchers, while a field team headed to the sprawling rural areas in Mukalla. To reach families who cannot go to distribution points and deliver Eid clothing to them in their homes.
