From the PP they defend that it was launched “a year ago, it has been working for months and even the phase of citizen participation has already concluded”
The general secretary of the PSOE in the Region of Murcia, Pepe Vélez, announced that his party is proposing “a Regional Pact for Infrastructures, which includes all the infrastructures that the Region of Murcia needs without exception: both those that are the competence of the Government of Spain and those that are the responsibility of the Government of the Region of Murcia. “We hope that, between now and Monday, López Miras will rethink the situation and, for once, decide not to deceive the citizens of the Region of Murcia,” he added.
Vélez assured that the Pact for Infrastructures that the regional government has proposed “does not contemplate the infrastructures that correspond to the autonomous community to develop.” Regarding this, he stated that it is “a real shame that the Government of López Miras leaves out the infrastructures that are within its competence, despite the fact that they have been included in previous agreements for more than 10 years, they have not yet been done and they are fundamental for the municipalities of the Region of Murcia».
“Surely, the Government of López Miras intends to install in the society of the Region of Murcia that they are also the responsibility of the Government of Spain. They have become accustomed to lying, to confrontation, to evading their obligations and to doing nothing”, he indicated.
The Secretary General of the Socialists in the Region stressed that “the proposal for the PSOE’s Regional Agreement for Infrastructure does include all the infrastructure that the Region of Murcia needs.” “Those that the Government of Spain has to do and those that the Government of the Region of Murcia has to do. We put a name and surnames on it and we indicate whose responsibility it is to make them », he stated. Vélez also announced that the PSOE will send the draft of the Regional Pact for Infrastructures to the rest of the political parties and to all the social agents.
Next, the leader of the Socialists in the Region expressed his skepticism with the Government of López Miras, pointing out that “the PP signed many pacts in the Region of Murcia but never fulfilled one. Almost four years ago we signed the Regional Pact for Water, they took the photo and put it in a drawer. They haven’t even called him once. We are not willing for them to continue deceiving the citizenry », he remarked.
To finish, Pepe Vélez, also assured that the Government of Spain is committed to the infrastructures that our community needs. «The Government of Pedro Sánchez is making the largest investment in infrastructure in our community that a government has made in the history of the Region of Murcia. We have to keep moving forward on this path », he concluded.
The PP defends that it is already underway
The spokeswoman for the Popular Party of the Region of Murcia, Miriam Guardiola, stated that “Mr. Vélez is not aware: the president of the regional government, Fernando López Miras, has already launched the Regional Pact for Infrastructure.”
Guardiola wondered “in which region Vélez lives”, since, he recalled, the president of the regional government “proposed a Regional Pact for Infrastructures a year ago, in the last Debate on the State of the Region, and, since then, he has They have held meetings with more than fifty groups from different sectors, and the citizen participation phase has even concluded.
“We are undoubtedly facing the worst PSOE in memory in the Region: it asks for something that is already underway and in which he has not moved a finger,” criticized the ‘popular’ spokeswoman, who pointed out that “this pact already includes regional and national infrastructures, with which it is a question of confronting the systematic mistreatment to which the Government of Sánchez subjects us in this matter, since the delay in the arrival of the AVE, the lack of projects regarding its coming to Cartagena and Lorca , or the height of becoming a railway island, all with the acquiescence and applause of Mr. Vélez himself».
“A Regional Pact for Infrastructures for which a participation process was opened a long time ago, and which already has the suggestions and contributions of the citizens and civil society of the Region”, added Guardiola. “Vélez spends so much time insulting the PP and applauding Pedro Sánchez that he hasn’t had time to focus on what’s important to at least get information,” said the ‘popular’.
Guardiola asked himself ironically «what will be the next thing that Vélez proposes that is already done: perhaps that Regional Pact for Water that Sánchez despises, perhaps that Regional Pact for Justice that the PSOE boycotts, or perhaps that Regional Pact for Violence of Gender to which the left, shamefully, did not join. “We ask for a little more seriousness and rigor and not proposals that are late, such as the Royal Decree approved this Saturday by Pedro Sánchez and that only seeks to resist in La Moncloa in the face of the electoral debacle in Andalusia”, concluded Miriam Guardiola.
