It was a possibility and, finally, it has been confirmed. The Finance Commission in which a European directive that imposes a complementary tax on multinationals was going to be voted on has been suspended and will be held, as confirmed by the PSOE, next monday. In addition to this European directive, several amendments have been incorporated that give much more depth to the vote of the commission’s opinion. Fundamentally, it will be decisive in deciding on the fall of the tax on energy companies and, also, in giving the green light to a tax package agreed by the PSOE itself and Sumar.
