The Provincial Court of Madrid has annulled the car by which Judge Juan Carlos Peinado, who investigates Begoña Gómez for four different crimes, ordered the entry into the personal home and at the headquarters of the offices of Juan Carlos Barrabés, the businessman also investigated in the case for their relationship with the wife of the President of the Government.
In a car to which this newspaper has had access, the magistrates of the judicial agency say that the fundamentals that the records guarantee to the entrepreneur have not been verified. And, they add that “the real truth cannot be obtained at any price. Not everything is lawful in the discovery of truth. Only what is compatible with the defense of the nuclear element of fundamental rights,” says the writing.
The Central Civil Guard Unit (UCO) made the records in last August in order to collect the documentation related to the contracts awarded to the Innova New company, entitled by the investigated, after the recommendation letters signed Pedro Sánchez’s wife. In fact, as this newspaper advanced, Barrabés multiplied by twelve the amount of their public awards – Faced with those achieved six years earlier – after the launch of the Master of Competitive Social Transformation that Gomez directed until now at the Complutense University. The businessman achieved almost a hundred public awards valued in More than 25 million euros.
The entrance order by the Peinated Judge argued that Barrabés could have committed the crimes of influence peddling and corruption in business for his relationship with Begoña Gómez. The Provincial Court, however, considers that there are no “objective data” that could support the suspicion of the involvement of Mr. Barrabés in the crimes for which he is investigated. “The mere media significance of the investigation cannot justify the interference in fundamental rights with the errone .
The audience also believes that there is no argument that justifies the “urgency” of the entry into the house and the headquarters of the investigated offices and even more so when “he was admitted to the hospital by consisting of medical reports in the cause” .
