The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has gathered urgently this afternoon with some of the main representatives of the Spanish electricity companies. At the meeting, Sanchez has claimed companies to collaborate in the investigation that the Executive has decided to open to identify the causes of the blackout suffered this last Monday and whose conclusions have committed to presenting on May 7 at the Congress of Deputies.
As indicated by the government president himself, during the meeting they thanked them for their work for the prompt recovery of the supply, which represents a very different tone from this morning when he held the private companies responsible for the supply.
Sanchez has also promised to undertake the necessary improvements to guarantee the supply and future competitiveness of our system.
