The opening of emulators on iOS devices has been one of the most important events in the video game industry this year. Currently, platforms such as the NES, SNES, Game Boy and Nintendo 64 are now available to all iPhone users. Fortunately, The offer continues to grow, and PPSSPP, the number one emulator of PSPIt is now available.
That’s right, right now you can enter the App Store, or use this link, and download PPSSPP completely free on your iPhone or iPad. Like other emulators, You need to use your ROMs, which are not included in this applicationto enjoy games like Crisis Core or God of War: Chains of Olympus.
However, there is a problem with this emulator, and is that at the moment it is not possible to connect controls wirelesslyand you can only play through tactical controls on the screen, although it is not ruled out that this will change in a future update.
Don’t hesitate, if you want to have your entire PSP game library on your iPhone, PPSSPP is the best option there is at the moment. However, remember that ROMs are available separately, and need to be in the ISO format to work properly. On related topics, it seems that Sony is already working on a new PSP. Likewise, they hack a PlayStation Portal to run PSP games.
Author Note:
I’ve tried a couple of iPhone emulators, and the work presented to us isn’t bad, but I’m not a fan of how it feels in my hands. Maybe with a controller that works via Bluetooth I can have a better experience, but at the moment I’m not entirely interested.
