The woman assures that she received threats for two weeks from Ayoub, one of the aggressors
José, the 34-year-old man who was seriously injured in the violent fight that took place this Wednesday, is progressing favorably after having his hand replanted at the La Paz Hospital in Madrid, where he was transferred the same afternoon by helicopter to undergo surgery. The man suffered stab wounds not only to his left hand, which was partially amputated, but also to his back and legs.
“He is stable, pained, but pulling forward like a champion,” confirms Sandra Lisón, the woman with whom the convalescent man shares a girl. “In a video he has taught me that he can move his fingers, but we will have to wait for the days to pass,” says the young woman.
For that part, she feels relieved, as does José’s family, who is in Madrid accompanying the wounded man. But Sandra affirms, with tears in her eyes, that «I’m wrong because he doesn’t deserve this and I don’t want to give more hype to all the lies that have been told. And she states disconsolately that José, the young man who works in a candy factory, “doesn’t want me to talk anymore.” Indeed, THE TRUTH witnessed a phone call between the two, in which the woman invited José to offer his version and he asked her not to make any more statements, after appearing on some television media.
Sandra denies that her partner is an abuser, as has been spread on social networks. “That’s a lie, he is a good person, he loves his daughter madly and has always treated her well,” he says.
Before going to the rally that took place in the Plaza de España, which was attended by more than two hundred people to show their rejection of the brawl that took place on Calle Triunfo, Sandra told LA TRUTH that Ayoub, the young The 31-year-old who attacked her partner with a machete spent more than two weeks harassing her on WhatsApp with threats, which caused her to call the police several times, until on Tuesday she filed a complaint at the police station for this reason.
In addition, it turns out that those involved in the brutal fight are neighbors and crossed paths on the street on many occasions. “He had us harassed and even said that one day he was going to appear with a machete,” says the young woman. He is reluctant to give more details because “all this is in the hands of the police”
What it does not clarify are the causes of these threats. Some neighbors say that José had had a relationship with Ayoub’s ex-partner, the young Spanish man of Moroccan origin who was involved in the attack. According to these testimonies, Ayoub’s son had told him that his mother’s current partner did not treat her well, which is why the brawl was supposedly started last Wednesday.
Both Ayoub and his brother, 23, also received several stab wounds in the struggle, and were transferred to Arrixaca. The fight took place shortly after two in the afternoon on Wednesday.
Sandra recounts that she was coming from buying food from a chicken joint and picking up her daughter from school, when she was alarmed to see the two brothers with a defiant tone. He alerted José to leave the game room where he was, but the two boys entered the premises, where the brawl began. There the attacks began with a machete and the brawl moved to the street, where José defended himself as best he could, to the point of eventually snatching the knife from the two brothers.
Sandra herself, desperate, went to the scene of the fight to try to separate the aggressors from her daughter’s father, but her attempts were in vain. The intervention of a man of about sixty years of age was decisive, by managing to snatch the knife from the aggressors, a gesture that has been highly applauded by the neighbors on social networks. His intervention took place moments before two local police officers arrived at the scene.
empathy and humanity
The mayor of Molina, Eliseo García, asked this Thursday that citizens show “empathy and humanity” with the family of José, the 34-year-old man who was seriously injured after receiving several stab wounds during a brawl that took place on Triunfo street of the locality. The councilor wanted to convey that “the family is having a hard time and has asked me to stop spreading the images and videos” that have been forwarded through social networks in the last few hours.
For García Cantó, the priority for the municipal government is to support José and his family. He also appealed to the responsibility of the rest of the political parties to do the same, instead of seeking confrontation to get “a handful of votes.” “The important thing is the evolution of Jose and the family,” he insisted.
The mayor lamented the event “because it touches us closely.” And he recalled that Molina de Segura is below the regional average in the crime rate, despite violent episodes such as the one that occurred on Triunfo Street this Wednesday.
The PP asks for measures
The PP does not think the same, which, through its spokesman, José Ángel Alfonso, denounced the lack of measures to stop violent episodes by the mayor and his municipal government, “what is causing Molina to be unrecognizable”
Alfonso requested that the local citizen security board be urgently convened to propose measures to address the lack of security that, in his opinion, exists in the municipality. Among them, he proposes that a study be made of the most conflictive areas of the town “because it is statistically proven that marginality is associated with these criminal acts.”
In addition, he demanded that the police action protocol be improved and that local agents be provided with the necessary tools to carry out their task. “I have to thank the work of the agents who, with their actions, prevented a murder in broad daylight,” Alfonso said.
