Bloodshed is essential in Yemen in order to achieve stability throughout the country. Therefore, the Houthi violations must stop, and the militias must abide by the humanitarian truce that has been in force under the auspices of the United Nations since the beginning of April. Now it is assumed that a different phase has begun in Yemen, and its success depends on the participation of all parties in the process of building the state, from the ashes of the war that caused heavy losses on all levels. And Yemenis are able to face challenges and overcome difficulties, with the support of Arab efforts and international endeavors, so that living conditions can improve.
The continuation of the battles and the military violations will lead to the prolongation of the war, the widening of the cycle of violence and chaos, the shedding of more blood, and the postponement of political settlements indefinitely.
This is certainly rejected by Yemenis who are tired of the horrors of war.
Therefore, the Yemeni Presidency Council adheres to peace as the only option to prevent bloodshed and stop the violence. This requires concerted efforts on the basis of consensus and partnership. On the other hand, Yemen needs the international community’s continued efforts to support state-building efforts, especially at the economic level, where international financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank can play an important role in providing the best qualitative contributions to help Yemenis face food security challenges and economic deterioration by supporting The private sector and the productive sectors to provide more job opportunities.
