93.1% of the students who took the test this year passed the test, compared to 95.6% in 2021. Paula Piñero, from Cartagena, and José María Moreno, from Cieza, tied for the highest grade in the general phase by getting a 9.99 out of 10
93.1% of those who took the Baccalaureate Evaluation for University Access (EBAU) in the Region of Murcia passed, as reflected in the notes published this Monday afternoon by the University of Murcia, in charge of Organize and coordinate tests. This figure represents a slight decrease with respect to those obtained last year, when the percentage of passes before the review of exams was 95.6%.
This year the best grade in the general phase was obtained by Paula Piñero, a student from the Santa Joaquina Vedruna School in Cartagena, and José María Moreno, a student from the Diego Tortosa Secondary School in Cieza. Both are tied for first position with 9.99 out of 10 in the general phase, the one that examines the common subjects and the modality core.
Before the examination review period, the average mark obtained in the general phase by regional students is 6.79. The access note; that is to say, the one that takes into account both the mark obtained in the EBAU and the average of Baccalaureate, is 7.81.
In this call, 7,428 students enrolled in the general phase of the EBAU, to which were added another 1,024 who took only the modality exams, either because they needed to raise their grades compared to previous calls or because they came from Vocational Training.
