The new Citroën C3 Aircross is suddenly big enough for seven people

Above you can see the first images of the first electric Citroën C3 Aircross. Although this Aircross is not as square as the Citroën Oli – on which the new design language is based – the appearance of the new C3 Aircross is daring to say the least. Citroën prefers to call it 'tough, muscular and robust'. Of course, the new design also includes the new Citroën logo.

There are narrow headlights flanking the new grille. The next generation of the C3 Aircross grows from 4.15 meters to 4.39 meters. This would be the longest wheelbase in the segment, according to Citroën. Thanks to the extra-long wheelbase, there should be a lot of legroom for the occupants. So much space that there is now room for seven people. You wouldn't say that from the outside, would you?

Space for seven in the new Citroën C3 Aircross

There is room for two seats in the front, a three-seater rear bench and another two seats behind the rear seat. The rear row of seats folds completely flat into the floor. There are no photos of the interior yet, but we dare say that sitting at the very back is especially pleasant for small children. The car lacks half a meter for seven full-fledged seats.

Just like the new Citroën C3, you can soon order the Aircross as an EV, hybrid or petrol car. By soon we mean mid-2024. The prices are not yet known. The normal C3 starts at around 20,000 euros, but due to its size it will undoubtedly cost a little more. The old C3 Aircross costs at least 28,500 euros.
