Naver 1784 is much more than just a building; it is a concentrate of technological innovation, designed to improve the interaction between man and machine and to bring benefits significant to daily life, both at work and in other areas.
The Protagonists of the Robotic Revolution
Inside this imposing building we find approximately 100 service robots called Rookies. These robots operate thanks to an innovative artificial intelligence platform called ARC (AI, Robot, and Cloud). The ARC system uses the network Naver Cloud and 5G to manage, plan and process robot movements and tasks.
The Rookies, equipped with wheels and a compartment for transporting food, drinks or other items, work mainly in one Starbucks located inside the tower, but are also in charge of distributing packages and lunches throughout the 36 floors of the building. Operation is supported by the Roboport system, an elevator dedicated to robots that facilitates rapid access to the various floors.
The Ambidex Robot in Naver
In addition to the Rookies, we find Ambidex, a dual-arm robot with advanced mechanisms to perform tasks that require more strength. Ambidex ensures safe interactions with humans and can handle high-load tasks thanks to its cable-operated structure.
