As a dream come true, the members of the Cultural Association Transformers Cusco qualified, the exhibition of a varied collection of robots in their different versions that since last Friday is held at the headquarters of the Rázuri del Cercado school. Also shown five replicas of the cars that star in the film saga whose latest installment is filmed in the Cusco region.
Five environments house the collection of transformers that are carefully kept in special urns with backgrounds alluding to different landscapes of Cusco. Among the landscapes stands out the obelisk at Inca Pachakuteq, the fortress of Sacsayhuaman and Machupicchu, In whose heights a face-to-face fight between Optimus Prime, leader of the autobots and his eternal rival Megatron of the decepticons is represented. This is one of the favorite exhibits of young and old who come to the robot museum.
“At last we were able to finalize the project, we had it planned even before it was known that the seventh installment would be filmed in our land. People are excited ”, said Yllich Cachi, president of the aforementioned association.
Classic and new
The novelty of the show is in the last room where classic cars from the animated series and modern models from the movies are exhibited. I know highlights both versions of Bumblebee. The Volkswagen Beetle from the 1986 animation and the Chevrolet Camaro from the 2007 film. “Here we have both of you, to choose your favorite,” said one of the organizers.
Another attraction is Barricada, Mustang brand patrol car which also appears in the film version of 2007. The members of the Police, did not resist taking a photo with the modern car.
The sample has more than 500 collectible pieces that the 12 members of the Cultural Association Transformes Cusco. The entrance to the exhibition costs 10 soles, those under five years old do not pay.
Transformers are rolling again
Again, today the streets of the Historic Center of Cusco will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian passage, for the second day of filming of the Transformers, the awakening of the beasts. It is known that the only vehicles that will roll through the center are those from the film. The most anticipated scenes of the seventh installment will star.
The pass will be closed for 12 hours starting at 6:00 am. The creators of the film asked the people of Cusco for compression.
