Without a doubt, we are talking about the most demanding and prestigious MTB event in the world. Nicknamed by many as the ‘Tour de France of MTB’, there is no other more important race, the one that every biker wants to win, although finishing it is already a challenge. Like the vast majority of tests that make up this list, it is also contested in pairs, which as they say in the world, ‘divide the penalties and double the joys’. Only the most experienced and talented riders have conquered the title in the demanding South African territory, such as the living MTB legend Nino Schurter. In 2020 it was not held due to the pandemic and in 2021 it was postponed to October.
