On the verge of the start of the winter holidays, the Government ratified the continuity of the Assistance Program for Tourist Providers by launching the seventh stage since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic with a benefit of $ 22,000 per month per employee.
By means of the Resolution 250/2021, published this Friday in the Official Gazette, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports launched the Assistance Program for Tourist Providers VII (APTUR VII), within the scope of the Subsecretariat for Strategic Development of that portfolio.
The program was launched in June last year when the Government declared a health emergency and ordered a series of measures to limit circulation and the development of certain activities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. In this first stage we attended about 3,500 people.
Then the scope of the program was extended and it was reissued six times to reach a total of 5,800 beneficiaries. In the last edition, the program assisted employees in the sector with a non-refundable contribution of $ 50,000.
In this new version, unlike the previous ones, which was intended for monotributistas, self-employed workers and legal entities that do not have staff in charge, aid is aimed at employers. “It is necessary to extend assistance to human and legal persons who have employees in charge, whose main work is linked to tourism,” said the resolution.
Likewise, APTUR VII requires, in consideration for obtaining the benefit, that dependent employees take a monthly training course, “with the purpose of increasing their general knowledge, improving and strengthening labor and professional skills, thus providing them with instruments to efficiently and effectively materialize the economic reactivation and recovery of the sector.”
To access the program, interested persons must prove that they have received the REPRO II Program in at least two months computable, since January 2021, and that the employees in charge who are reached by the benefit pass the training course of the Virtual Training Program (PFV) on the platform https://campus.yvera.gob.ar/ on a monthly basis, which is carried out by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.
In accordance with the provisions of the regulations, a maximum amount to be received will be calculated, proportional to the maximum number of employees benefited by the REPRO II Program since January 2021.
It also establishes that the employer may subscribe up to a limit of 227 employees in relation to his dependence, with a monthly benefit of $ 22,000, which will be subject to the number of beneficiaries who have completed the training corresponding to the period.
It is also clarified that the payment will be made in installments, “the amount of which will depend on the amount of the maximum benefit.”
The people who receive the aid must finalize and pass monthly training within 15 calendar days from the notification corresponding to each month.
People who owe compensation for any type of assistance they have received from the Ministry of Tourism and Sports or who have accounts pending rendering are expressly excluded from this program.
Neither can those who perceive the benefit of the complementary allowance to the REPRO II Program be eligible.
