New specialists will be found to replace 26 ambulance doctors who quit the station in the city of Obluchye of the Jewish Autonomous Region due to their unwillingness to be vaccinated against coronavirus. About it TASS reported in the press service of the regional government.
According to Sergei Bagnenko, chief freelance ambulance specialist of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the redistribution of existing workers, as well as the involvement of additional specialists, will make up for the missing ambulance teams. They will make it possible to provide treatment for patients while a dialogue is being established with resigned employees.
In addition, Bagnenko explained, a representative has already been sent to the Jewish Autonomous Region “to resolve the problem and participate in a dialogue with the participants in the situation.”
“You need to listen to everyone and outline the correct, well-grounded plan of action. The population of the city of Obluchye will be provided with the necessary emergency medical care, ”Bagnenko said.
He also stressed that ambulance workers work under tremendous workloads, in constant contact with patients with coronavirus, so all employees must be vaccinated.
On November 4, in Obluchye, a team of employees of an ambulance station, consisting of 15 people, refused to be vaccinated against coronavirus and resigned. According to the decree of the chief sanitary doctor for the Jewish Autonomous Okrug, Pavel Kopylov, 80 percent of all ambulance personnel should be vaccinated by November 15. Later it became known that 12 more ambulance employees wrote a letter of resignation.
