The validity of certificates of the presence of antibodies to coronavirus will be six months from the date of receipt of the test results. This was announced on Tuesday, February 8, by the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
“The validity of the certificate in this case will be six months from the date of receipt of the test results. Re-issuance of the certificate based on the results of an antibody test is not provided, ”the statement says.
Earlier, on January 14, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that the Russian authorities would be ready to issue COVID-certificates to citizens after February 1 based on the results of an antibody test. She added that foreigners or Russians vaccinated with foreign vaccines will also be able to receive a certificate in the Russian Federation for six months if they have antibodies.
However, on February 8, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, said that the total number of daily registered cases of COVID-19 is unprecedentedly high. However, in the Russian Federation, there is a decrease in the proportion of cases that occur in Moscow, the Moscow Region and St. Petersburg – up to 32.3%.
Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko, in turn, added that the remote procedure for issuing sick leave will be valid until March 15.
