Belarusian Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei explained the introduction of the CTO regime with possible provocations
The regime of the counter-terrorist operation (CTO) was introduced in Belarus after the appearance of information that “some neighboring states” are preparing provocations in the republic. About this, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country Vladimir Makei informed in an interview with Izvestia.
A counter-terrorist operation regime has been introduced. Indeed, there was information that some neighboring states were planning provocations related almost to the seizure of certain sections of the territory of Belarus
The head of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry stressed that the purpose of such a step is to protect the citizens of Belarus, and assured that the armed forces and special services of the republic are ready to repulse any provocations.

Terror threats
Earlier, the head of the Belarusian KGB, Lieutenant-General Ivan Tertel, warned that foreign special services are helping to train organizers of terrorist attacks in Belarus on the territory of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine.
According to him, the scenarios of Western intelligence services include, among other things, preparations for a series of terrorist attacks on the territory of Belarus. “Taking into account the fact that we are creating a joint grouping of troops with Russia,” he stressed. According to the KGB, foreign special services are planning to carry out terrorist attacks on the railway, along the path of movement of military formations.

Lukashenka’s answer
Prior to this, the President of the Republic, Alexander Lukashenko, announced an allegedly impending attack on Belarus by Ukraine, in connection with which the politician threatened Kyiv with a response.
As stated: “We will make it so that it will be the Crimean Bridge-2.” My answer was simple: “Tell the president of Ukraine and other insane people that the Crimean bridge will seem like flowers to them if they touch at least one meter of our territory with their dirty hands”
Earlier, the Belarusian leader said that he had been warned through unofficial channels about a strike on Belarus from the territory of Ukraine. At a meeting with the military and security forces, he urged them to think about how to defend the country in the event of an attack.
The opening of the front against Belarus by Kyiv is insane from a military point of view, but the process has begun
The situation at the border
On October 9, the head of the State Border Committee (SBC) of Belarus, Anatoly Lappo, said that Ukraine had blown up almost all road and railway bridges and completely mined the roads on the border with Belarus.
According to Lappo, sometimes the Ukrainian side puts anti-tank mines on the roads in three rows. He stressed that Ukraine’s efforts are focused on covering the state border and described the situation in the area as difficult. “The peculiarity of the situation is that it’s not the border guards who go to the border, the half-drunk territorial defense is under pressure, they aim at our border guards, sometimes they shoot in the air,” he said.
The head of the Ministry of Defense (MO) of Belarus, Viktor Khrenin, confirmed that the conflict in Ukraine threatens the country’s security.
Today, the conflict in Ukraine provoked by the West also carries risks and challenges to military security for our state, even though the Belarusians are not at war with Ukraine
