The Ministry of Culture of Ukraine has included the Russian composer and producer Maxim Fadeev in the list of persons threatening national security, the press service of the country’s Security Service said.
The SBU sent a letter to the Ministry of Culture on November 11. On November 19, Fadeev was blacklisted.
Ukrainian legislation provides that the Ministry of Culture makes changes to the list of persons threatening national security on the basis of appeals from the SBU, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the National Council on TV.
Now the list of persons who, in the opinion of the Ukrainian authorities, pose a threat to the country’s security, includes 155 Russian cultural figures. In addition, Kiev bans entry to ordinary Russians.
