Defense Ministry servicemen have encountered problems in obtaining QR codes required to visit cafes and restaurants in some regions of Russia. This was reported by RBC with reference to sources close to the military department.
The interlocutors of the publication emphasized that difficulties with QR codes concern only the military, civil servants of the Ministry of Defense have not encountered such a problem. “Difficulties are associated with the issue of transferring personal data to departments that are responsible for generating codes. The Ministry of Defense cannot transfer the data of employees of units whose work is associated with a secrecy regime. Accordingly, the military cannot receive QR codes, ”said one of the sources.
Now the relevant departments are discussing how to solve the problem. One of the options is to equate the status of a soldier with the presence of a QR code, since most of the armed forces have been vaccinated.
Earlier it was reported that employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Federal Security Service (FSO) cannot receive QR codes either. The difficulties are explained by the fact that not all departmental clinics transmit information to the Unified Medical Information Automatic System (UMIAS). In the center for public relations of the FSO, commenting on this data, they said that they did not have such information.
