Eliseo García clarifies to his predecessor that the invitation to attend the PSOE congress is due “to an error”
The mayor of Molina de Segura and general secretary of the PSOE in the town, Eliseo García Cantó, exploded yesterday against his predecessor, Esther Clavero, after she announced that she intends to attend the federal congress in Valencia after receiving an invitation from the match. Eliseo García Cantó reiterated that the file opened to the former mayor for being vaccinated out of protocol against Covid-19 has not been closed, so the precautionary suspension of militancy that the party imposed in its day is maintained. The councilor assures that the invitation responds to “an error” in the management of the affiliate database, in which the contact of Esther Clavero remains until the internal organs are finished speaking. “She is not invited to the congress,” he declared.
But the mayor went further and reminded Clavero of the reason why he had to resign as mayor and as general secretary of the Molinense Socialists. Something that, as she hinted, invalidates her for an immediate rehabilitation as leader of the PSOE in Molina de Segura, as she pursues: «I have the impression that it is difficult, if not impossible, for society to forget what it meant to skip the protocol of vaccination and everything that happened during those two weeks, in which some political positions from different parties, not only from the PSOE, made the mistake of getting vaccinated, with the ethical and moral disapproval that this implies, “said Eliseo García Cantó.
The mayor of Molina de Segura was in the government team led by Esther Clavero, but in the end he was one of the councilors who withdrew their support after it was publicly known that he had received the vaccine when it was not yet his turn, since on that date Only users and staff of nursing homes, as well as health professionals who were on the front line in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, had access to the doses.
Esther Clavero, who is an oncology patient, defended that she obeyed the orders of her doctors, as they called her from her health center to suggest that she be vaccinated because she was a person at risk subjected to significant social exposure.
The case of Esther Clavero became known in the middle of the national political controversy, because a few days before it was learned that the then Regional Minister of Health, Manuel Villegas, was also vaccinated. THE TRUTH revealed both irregularities.
