Cancel your public agenda for the next few days
The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has canceled his public agenda this Thursday after having tested positive for Covid-19. He made it public through his profile on the social network Facebook in which he confirmed that he was “well, with mild symptoms” and isolated at his home.
The socialist announced that he will continue teleworking in the coming days and warned that “the bug” will not prevent him from “continuing working around the city”, although the suspension of several events that he planned to preside over is foreseeable, including the meeting of the Social Council of the City that was going to be held this afternoon in the church of Santa María and whose call is two years late precisely because of the pandemic.
