‘The Mayan Train has already arrived in Carrillo Puerto,’ boasts Sheinbaum

In her speech, after the inauguration of the Historical Museum of this town, Sheinbaum asked for military support so that the train has more branches, even to the north. “And now we are asking the military engineers to help us so that the Mayan Train is also a freight train with a connection to other trains that we are going to make, the Interoceanic that already exists and other trains that we are now going to make for the north of the Republic, supporting the southeast of Mexico and the Mayan people, we will never forget that,” she promised.

During this working tour, President López Obrador boarded the train from Cancún, with a stopover in Playa del Carmen, a journey that is already open to the public.

However, he inaugurated section 5 south that goes from Playa del Carmen to Tulum, and section 6 from Tulum to Carrillo Puerto.
