Technicians from the Murcian Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research and Development (Imida) took water samples from the Mar Menor on Wednesday at 28 points from Los Narejos to Lo Pagán and all of them offer an average oxygen value of 6.81 milligrams per liter, which which represents “acceptable” levels. Specifically, the Imida technicians carried out a measurement run between Los Narejos, in the municipality of Los Alcázares, and the Club Náutico La Puntica in Lo Pagán, belonging to San Pedro del Pinatar.
They carried out measurements of the oxygen level in 28 points, not detecting any below 4 milligrams per liter and with an average oxygen level of 6.81 milligrams per liter, according to sources from the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Environment and Emergencies. In addition, the Imida technicians did not detect any anomaly in other points of the Mar Menor.
