The map of all the municipalities of Valencia affected by DANA: almost 30% of the province suffers damage

The number of municipalities affected by DANA in Valencia increases. The provisional list updated this Monday by the Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat amounts to a total of 71, which already represents 26.69% of the total number of localities in the province of Valencia.

Now, two of the municipalities are only partially damaged: Valencia -where the damage has been centered in the southern districts (Faitanar, La Torre, Forn d’Alcedo, Castellar-Oliveral, Pinedo, El Saler, El Perelló and El Palmar)- and Loriguilla in the urban center next to the A-3.

Continue with Catarroja, Caudete de las Fuentes, Corbera, Quart de Poblet, Cullera, Chera, ChesteXirivella, Chiva, Favara, Fortaleny, Fuenterrobles, Godelleta, Guadassuar, Llíria, Loriguilla (only urban center next to the A-3), Llaurí, Llombai, Macastre, Manises, Massanassa, Mislata, Montserrat, Montroi, Paiporta, Paterna, Pedralba, Picanya, Picassent, Polinyà de Xúquer, Real and Requena.

Light and telecommunications

As of this Monday, 99% of the electricity of customers affected by DANA in the province of Valencia has been restored and there are currently 1,500 customers without service, according to Iberdrola.

Regarding telecommunications, Telefónica has recovered more than 90% of the network’s fixed central infrastructure and more than 60% of mobile infrastructures.

Likewise, progress is being made in reestablishing the sanitation and water supply network and, to this end, a reinforcement of almost a hundred plumbers to repair the connections of the general network to private buildings.

At the moment, All affected areas have drinking water service which can be used for grooming and cleaning tasks, but is not of sufficient quality for human consumption in the affected municipalities.
