The suspect in this femicide fled. He was located and detained on Monday, June 3, in Nova Maringá, 392 kilometers from where Bruna’s body was found.
Media in Brazil claim that the man tried to resist the arrest and that he will be prosecuted for femicide. The authorities are trying to clarify the causes of Bruna’s death.
