Student Amr Khaled Al-Nems entered the world of discovery and learning from a young age. He linked his passion for design and his ability to implement it, and learned many skills that he benefited from in implementing three smart innovations, which aim to transform school books into interactive books, a device to reduce water waste, in addition to a smart system to reduce water waste. From car accidents, while he is currently preparing for exams to obtain membership in the “Mensa” Association for Geniuses and Super-Intelligences. The eleventh grade student at Al-Nokhba Private School said that his first innovation was the “talking interactive book,” which is a device that is fixed in the book and changes its lighting as the pages are turned, which adds a new interactive experience to reading. Al-Nems, who was honored at the school, added: “My second innovation was the (Octopus Car Wash) project, which is a device in the shape of a magnetic octopus with spongy arms that makes a circular motion over the car and washes it.” He explained that his third innovation, which was shared with his sister, an engineering student, Nouran, is the “Our Safety on the Road” project, which aims to enhance road safety by using a phone application based on “iBeacon” technology and sensors to warn drivers of oncoming cars in blind spots on bridges and intersections.
