The leave, which falls within the period of non-working days approved on Wednesday, October 20, by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is not extended. Dmitry Kofanov, a labor law lawyer and general director of NS Consulting, told Izvestia about this.
The Russian leader on Wednesday, during a meeting with the government, supported the proposal of Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova to introduce non-working days from October 30 to November 7 inclusive due to the situation with the coronavirus. According to him, if necessary, regional authorities can extend non-working days after November 7, and start the period earlier, from October 23.
The lawyer admitted that the decree on the introduction of non-working days, which the president will sign, will be similar to the previous one – dated April 23, 2021. According to him, it will be determined by the organizations themselves to determine the number of employees and workers who will ensure the functioning of organizations for the period of non-working days, he said.
Putin also ordered to expand the volume of testing for COVID-19. He also stressed the importance of reducing the rate of spread of the coronavirus.
