Special testing to verify the authenticity of the QR code on vaccination against COVID-19 may begin to be applied to those who are entitled to mandatory vaccination by law. So the legality of the method, which was told in the center of Gamaleya, in a conversation with “Lenta.ru” was assessed by the lawyer, director of the legal company “Yusufov Group” Asad Yusufov.
“For example, a doctor comes in who deals with blood transfusions, and he is potentially dangerous if he is infected. I think that appropriate amendments will be made to the law and this testing will be made mandatory, ”the specialist said. Thus, some Russians will be able to legally test for the presence in the blood of special antibodies to the Ad26 adenovirus protein, which is used in Sputnik V and Sputnik Light.
As an example, Yusufov also cited the mandatory testing of public transport drivers before going on a flight. He recalled that such workers must undergo a medical examination. “I think, here, by analogy, just for workers for whom vaccination is compulsory, they will be tested,” he explained.
Earlier, Yusufov said that the introduction of testing for the presence of vaccinations against COVID-19 could lead to cases of criminal prosecution. According to him, in Russia there is a criminal liability for forging any official document that grants any rights or releases from obligations.
The appearance of a special test for the presence of vaccination became known earlier. According to the head of the Gamaleya Center Alexander Gintsburg, the authenticity of the vaccination document will be confirmed by the presence of antibodies to the Ad26 adenovirus in the blood.
