A Japanese video game company has given Friday off because “they won’t be able to concentrate.”
There is only one day left until the launch of Elden Ring on PC and consoles. This Friday is one of the most anticipated days by video game fans in general and fans of Software in particular. Hidetaka Miyazaki’s work has become in just a few hours one of the best valued games in history, so it is clear that its premiere is not a trivial matter.
In fact, a curious anecdote from Japan makes it clear that this is an important event. And it is that the video game company Pocket Pair has announced that will give vacations on Friday to its employees due to the launch of Elden Ring, as communicated in a document addressed to all its employees.
If they finish the game they will also free on MondayThe development company itself, responsible for titles such as Craftopia or Palworld, has commented in its twitter account the decision. They ensure that, if they don’t, the workers “they won’t be able to concentrate” to carry out their duties, and in fact they offer the possibility of getting off work next Monday as well. For the latter, the condition is a bit more complex: whoever wants that bonus will have to have finished the game when it starts next week.
Keep an eye on the times, because Elden Ring arrives on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S tomorrow Friday February 25.
