Samples from predetermined locations
The samples were taken in three categories. The first is less than 18 years of age, the second is 18 to 49 years of age and the third is more than 50 years of age. The most samples were for people between 18 and 49 years old. The survey started from the first date of September and ran till the 7th. Randomized sampling was done on previously identified locations. People were asked to go to the nearest dispensary and give blood samples. Those who had joined the first two surveys were kept away from the third survey.
