The Algerian national team made the biggest leap in the international rankings for the month of December, when it jumped 3 places, to be ranked 29th in the world.
The Moroccan national team maintained its Arab lead, ranked 28th in the world, which is a good development compared to its 33rd position at the beginning of the year.
As for the Tunisian team, it fell to 30th place in the world, after its defeat against Algeria in the Arab Cup final, which allowed Algeria to claim 29th place.
The Egyptian team maintained its 45th place globally, and sixth in Africa, behind Senegal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Nigeria.

In the Asian continent, the Iranian team maintained the lead, 21st in the world, while the Qatari team came fifth on the continent, 48th in the world, ahead of Saudi Arabia (51) and the UAE (69).
